Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale, publishes an ever-expanding online bibliography, with abstracts and detailed indexing, of significant publications about music from all over the world, providing scholars with a tool for discovery and bibliographic control. All genres of music and related disciplines, all document types, and the publications of all countries are within RILM’s scope of coverage. National committees around the world contribute to the database, ensuring RILM’s broad international coverage, including several in Latin America and the Caribbean. The database currently includes thousands of records of Brazilian and Mexican publications and hundreds from Cuba, Colombia, Argentina, and Chile, as well as modest coverage from Guatemala, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Peru.
